Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur, released on November 21, continues to perform poorly on its first Tuesday, after a significant surge in its first weekend earnings. The war drama directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai tells the real-life tale of 120 soldiers of Kumaon Regiment, led by Major Shaitan Singh, portrayed to perfection by Farhan Akhtar.

Despite positive word of mouth, the film, low on commercial appeal, isn’t drawing the expected crowd to the theatres. The cinematic adaptation of the Battle of Rezang La during the Sino-Indian war is being praised for its impactful scenes and powerful performances. However, the noteworthy work by the film’s team isn’t translating into the expected collections.

Here’s how much 120 Bahadur has earned so far

The film opened to Rs 2.25 crore on its opening day, almost at par with Mastiii 4, the fresh installment of Milap Zaveri’s adult comedy, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Weekend performance of the film showed promise as the earnings skyrocketed to Rs 3.85 crore on Saturday, seeing a 71.1% jump. The upward trend continued on Sunday with the film amassing Rs 4 crore, estimated Sacnilk.

However, the real challenge for the film was to sustain its earnings on the first Monday. Unfortunately, the collections for the film crashed miserably on Monday with Rs 1.4 crore, a dip of 65%. On its first Tuesday, the downward trend continued with the film’s estimated earnings crashing to Rs 1.5 crore.
