Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while distributing employment letters to 647 forest guards, 41 junior engineers and wildlife guards on September 10, announced that under the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) recruiting process 40,000 candidates will be recruited in the next six months.
Congratulating the selected candidates, he said, “We all know that currently the most problematic issue for the whole world is climate change. Uncontrolled and unscientific development has initiated a new challenge for humankind. Untimely rain, hail, droughts are all examples of this. If forest guards, wildlife guards honestly do their work, then they will be playing a big role in reducing the effect of climate change.”
He further said that earlier it used to take around a year to receive the final appointment letter, however, now it is being dispersed early, that is, before six months or nearly a year. He also noted that among the 688 individuals appointed today, over 124 are women.
The chief minister pointed out that 1.55 lakh police positions were unfilled when his government assumed office, but they were quickly filled within the allotted period. Furthermore, 1.64 lakh teachers from a range of educational backgrounds were hired. He claimed that his administration has placed 6.5 lakh young people in employment.
Accusing the Akhilesh government of being irresponsible and having no interest in anything other than power. He said,”Everyone knows how UP was before 2017 and what used to happen here. Before 2017, Mafias used to run a parallel government here in every district under the leadership of the Samajwadi Party and Congress. Voices of backward people and the poor were muzzled, poor people used to get the benefits of welfare schemes.”
