Syndicate Bank recruitment 2018: The lender has invited applications for posts of company secretary and assistant general managers. Candidates who are interested may apply on or before February 21. Candidates can send the scanned copy of their application and resume at horerecruitments@syndicate bank.co.in.

Age limit:

For the post of company secretary, the minimum age required is 35 and maximum 45 years as on January 1, 2018. For assistant general managers, the minimum age is 35 and the maximum is 50 as on the same date.

Educational qualification

Company secretary: Law degree is desirable for this post. The candidate should be a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The person also must ave acquired or passed certified banking compliance professional programme which is conducted by IIBF.

Assistant general manager: Candidate must have a masters degree in any discipline with preference in Mathematics and statistics/CA/CFA (USA)/ICWA/MBA (Finance) from any recognised university. Those completing Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from Global Association of Risk Professionals or PRM from Professional risk Managers International Association or two years PG in Risk Management/Financial Engineering would be given preference.

While for Company secretary minimum 8 years experience is required( (5 years in case the recruitment is in Scale IV), for assistant general manager, minimum of 7 years experience in BFSI is needed. He should have also worked as senior manage/scale III for at least three years pr chief manager /scale IV.

Last year in December, the bank released notification inviting candidates to apply for admissions to the one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course in Manipal Global Education Services Private Limited Bangalore and Nitte Education International Private Limited (NEIPL) Greater Noida/Mangalore. After the candidate completes the course within the given time period, the person would be offered appointment in the bank as Probationary Officer (PO) in junior management grade/scale-I.
