Medhavi Skills University (MSU), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aequs Private Limited and NSDC for educational initiatives including skilling in Aerospace Manufacturing Technology, according to the press release.

The initiative claims to provide a work-integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme in Aerospace Manufacturing Technology and candidates will experience training at AEQUS’s manufacturing facilities.
Concurrently, MSU will deliver the foundational academic courses to ensure that learners are grounded in both theory and practice. NSDC claims to integrate formal apprenticeship modules under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) backed by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the statement added.
“We’re not just setting milestones but charting a new course for the nation’s education. Our aim is to robustly equip our youth with industry-pertinent skills, ensuring they not only thrive in their careers but also contribute significantly to the industry,” Kuldip Sarma, MSU pro-chancellor, said.
As per the officials, the alliance is the integration of OJT-based higher education and vocational training, which has emerged as a potent solution to the dual challenges of youth employability and the industry’s quest for skilled manpower. The New National Credit Framework (NCrF) under the auspices of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 further amplifies this by recognising the invaluable potential of work experience gained by youths in industries, offering credits for competencies acquired through OJT and Apprenticeships, as explained in the statement.
“This alliance is a testament to our commitment to youth development, presenting them with unparalleled practical training and work opportunities and an academic degree of repute which will especially empower youths from disadvantaged communities,” Rajeev Kaul, chief operating officer, Aequs Group of Companies, said.
