Universal Ai University’s business school, located in Karjat near Mumbai, has been included in the 2025 Positive Impact Rating (PIR), a global assessment that measures business schools on their contributions to social responsibility, sustainability, and ethical governance.

The university was placed in the top ‘Pioneering’ category, with a ranking of 11th among 86 business schools from 28 countries. The PIR, now in its fifth edition, is based on student feedback and evaluates institutions across areas such as governance, curriculum, student engagement, and community involvement.

Universal Ai University recently introduced a fast-track undergraduate degree in collaboration with Cambridge University Press & Assessment for A & AS-level students, allowing them to complete their degrees six months ahead of schedule while availing 30% credit transfers. This move aims to offer greater flexibility and global academic mobility to students.
The rating is overseen by a Swiss-based association and supported by international organisations including WWF, Oxfam International, and the UN Global Compact Switzerland.

Universal Ai University, which focuses on AI-integrated education, offers programmes across disciplines such as technology, design, management, liberal arts, and music. The university has also reported partnerships with global academic and industry bodies, and says it is working toward building career-oriented pathways in emerging fields.
With increasing attention to purpose-driven education globally, the PIR highlights how students perceive their institutions’ role in addressing broader societal challenges.
