The JEE Main 2024 January Session is scheduled to take place at various examination centres nationwide. The exams for B.Arch. and B. Planning (Paper 2A & Paper 2B) are set for January 24, while B.E./B.Tech. (Paper 1) exams will be held on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 01, 2024.

JEE Main 2024 Live Updates: Candidates must ensure their arrival at the exam centre before the stipulated gate closing time. Those arriving after the gate closing time for the JEE Main exam center will not be permitted to enter the testing venue.
Previously, candidates were instructed to register via DigiLocker/ABC ID. However, those who did not register through DigiLocker/ABC ID or opted for non-Aadhaar authentication methods must now report early on the JEE Main 2024 exam day. To facilitate the recording of their biometrics, candidates are required to reach the JEE Main 2024 exam center at least one hour prior to the scheduled start time.

JEE Main 2024 Live Updates: For PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates participating in the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exams tomorrow, it is mandatory to arrive early for facilitated entry.
PwD candidates, specifically those with physical limitations affecting their ability to write, opting for a scribe will be granted compensatory or extra time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination, regardless of whether they use the scribe facility.
The use of a scribe is permitted only for candidates who have a certified physical limitation and require a scribe to write the examination on their behalf. Certification must be provided in the prescribed format by a Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Civil Surgeon, or Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
To avail of the scribe facility, PwD candidates must have indicated their preference for it in the online Application Form of JEE Main 2023. Candidates have the option to choose their own scribe or utilize the scribe provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA), according to their discretion.
JEE Main 2024 Live Updates: This exam pattern is designed to assess both conceptual understanding through MCQs and numerical problem-solving skills with integer-based answers.
