NEET PG 2024 exam city allotment: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2024 exam city allotment details, and candidates who have not checked their information yet can find it in the SMS inbox of the phone number they registered with the board.

The NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in) will not provide detailed information about the specific test centers for the NEET PG. Instead, it will only list the cities where the exam centers are located. The exact addresses of the examination centers will be provided on the admit cards, which are set to be released on August 8. The NEET PG 2024 is scheduled for August 11. According to the updated schedule, the exam will be held in 185 cities across the country. Candidates are required to select four preferred cities for their exam.

The NEET PG 2024 will serve as the sole eligibility and entrance exam for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma programs for the academic session 2024-25. The exam will cover:

  1. All India 50 percent quota seats for all states and Union Territories.
  2. State quota seats for all states and Union Territories.
  3. All private medical colleges, institutions, and universities, including deemed universities across the country.
  4. Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
  5. Post-MBBS DNB courses, direct 6-year DrNB courses, and Post-MBBS NBEMS diploma courses.

Exam pattern

The test will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions. It will feature 200 questions, each with four response options, and will be conducted in English only. Candidates must select the most accurate or appropriate response from the options provided. The exam duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
