How is the merit list decided?
Admission to MBA, MCA, ME/M.Tech/M.Arch programs will be based exclusively on scores from the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test. Marks obtained in the qualifying examination will not be considered for the merit list.
Furthermore, KEA has also disclosed the criteria on which candidates will be selected in case they score equal marks in the entrance test. The information bulletin reads, “Provided that where the merit of two or more candidates is the same, the inter se merit shall be determined about the total aggregate marks obtained in the Qualifying examination and where marks obtained are equal again, the inter se merit shall be determined based on the age of the candidate, wherein the elder candidate will be considered before the younger.”
Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for updates and ensure the timely submission of required documents. KEA had previously offered a final chance for applicants to amend their forms. All MTech candidates must present their undergraduate degree’s semester-wise marksheets during document verification, or they will be disqualified from ranking and counselling.
M.Arch applicants are required to submit their Post Graduate Entrance Test in Architecture (PGETA 2025) marks card during verification.
KEA will soon publish comprehensive counselling guidelines, including the schedule and seat allotment procedure, based on PGCET 2025 scores. Candidates are recommended to monitor the official website for updates and to ensure all necessary documents are submitted on time.
