JEE Main Paper 2 Result Live: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to release the live results for JEE Main Paper 2, Session 1, 2024, soon. Participants of the January session of the Joint Entrance Examination – Main 2024 will be able to view their scorecards via the official NTA JEE website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The exam was conducted on January 24 (2nd Shift) for B. Arch. & B. Planning (Paper 2A & Paper 2B) and on various dates from January 27 to February 1, 2024, for B.E./B.Tech. (Paper 1). It took place across numerous examination centers nationwide and in overseas cities.

As per the National Testing Agency (NTA), out of the total 74,002 candidates who registered for the exam, 55,493 candidates appeared for the JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 examination.

The results will be compiled according to the final answer key released. Any grievances regarding the answer key(s) after the announcement of the JEE (Main) - 2024 result/NTA Score will not be considered.
Registration for the second session of the Joint Entrance Exam Main commenced on February 2, 2024. Candidates have the opportunity to register for the April session until March 2, 2024. The JEE Main Session 2 exams for 2024 are scheduled to take place from April 4 to April 15, 2024.

As of February 27, 2024, JEE Main Paper 2 Scorecard Jan Session 2024 isn't out. When available, follow these steps:
1. Visit NTA JEE Main's official site.
2. Find "JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Paper 2 Scorecard" link.
3. Enter credentials.
4. Download scorecard.
Students who were unable to appear on the scheduled date for the JEE Mains 2024 test due to any reason will not be allowed to appear for another test. There is no re-examination held by the National Testing Agency under any circumstances.
Persons with Disability (PwD) are allotted 5% of seats in each of the GENERAL, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST category seats.
i. Candidates with a minimum of 40% impairment, regardless of the nature of the disability, are eligible for the benefits provided by the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
ii. Leprosy-cured candidates, deemed fit to pursue the courses, are also included within this category.
iii. Candidates with a disability below 40%, but experiencing difficulty in writing as specified by the Competent authority, are likewise incorporated in this category.

Reservation criteria for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are as follows:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates are allotted 15% of seats in every course.
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are allotted 7.5% of seats in every course.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) are allocated 27% of seats in every course.
- Eligibility for OBC reservation is based on inclusion in the latest updated central list of OBCs, available at http://www.ncbc.ac.in.
- OBC candidates listed only in the state list but not included in the central OBC list (as specified on http://www.ncbc.ac.in) are ineligible for reservation.
- Criteria for OBC-NCL reservation will align with the guidelines provided by the Government of India as per the official notification.
- Candidates identified as part of the creamy layer of OBC are not entitled to reservation benefits and will be considered part of the general (GEN) category, eligible only for OPEN seats accessible to all candidates.
In every course, 10% of seats are reserved for General category candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS). However, reservation benefits will only be extended to General category candidates who meet the conditions outlined in the OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II dated 17 January 2019, issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The criteria for GEN-EWS will adhere to the existing norms and/or notifications of the Government of India.
If you're dissatisfied with your results from Session 1, you have the opportunity to enhance your score by participating in Session 2, scheduled for April 4-15, 2024. Make sure to register for Session 2 before the deadline on March 2, 2024, and use the remaining time wisely to reinforce your preparation efforts.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam date for JEE Mains session 2. Candidates can find the updated JEE Mains 2024 exam dates on the official website at https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/. The NTA will now conduct the JEE Mains 2024 for session 2 exam from April 4 to April 15, 2024. Previously, the exam was scheduled to take place from April 1 to April 15, 2024.
After the results are declared, cut-offs for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning programs will be released by individual institutes based on the percentile score. Once qualified, candidates can proceed to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process for admission.
