The IIM Bangalore Alumni Association (IIMBAA) returned with its annual alumni meet, IIMBue 2025, on August 2-3, at The Leela Bhartiya City, Bengaluru, after a six-year hiatus. This year’s edition, themed “Shifting Realities, Soaring Possibilities,” brought together over 1,300 attendees and 57 speakers.
Stellar Lineup of Speakers and Thought Leaders
The summit featured a cross-section of influential voices including Dr Devi Shetty (Founder, Narayana Health), Rohini Nilekani (Chairperson, Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies), Nithin Kamath (Founder & CEO, Zerodha), Rohit Bansal (Co-founder, Snapdeal), Madhabi Puri Buch (Former SEBI Chairperson), Sahil Barua (CEO, Delhivery), and Vipul Parekh (Co-founder, BigBasket). Cultural and sports icons such as Pullela Gopichand, Ricky Kej, and Amol Parashar also took the stage.
Fostering Innovation and Community Engagement
The two-day event also featured a ‘Startup Ventures Pavilion’ featuring over 40 alumni-led startups across sectors like AI, climate tech, defence, and healthcare; and an ‘Author’s Corner’ spotlighting alumni authors and thinkers; and multiple breakout tracks focused on leadership in the AI era, ESG, digital disruption, and healthcare innovation.
