GATE 2024: The window for modifying or adding a second paper for GATE 2024 without incurring late fees at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will close tomorrow. Recently, IISc introduced new two-paper combinations for the GATE 2024 examination, providing candidates the opportunity to either select an additional second paper or change their existing paper preference.

To avail of this option, candidates can access the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. For those intending to appear in two test papers, they must specify a primary choice, and the second paper should be selected from the permissible combinations.

To include a new two-paper combination for GATE 2024, candidates can do so at the regular application fee, as mentioned in an official tweet. Furthermore, those already registered for two papers can modify their second paper selection without any additional fees. To exercise this choice, candidates must log in to GOAPS at goaps.iisc.ac.in. It’s crucial to note that this option can only be exercised once by each eligible candidate until the deadline on November 17, 2023.

Regarding the GATE Application Correction 2024, candidates have the opportunity to rectify details in their application form from November 18 to November 24, 2023. Accessing the system with their registered email ID and password allows them to make alterations in various fields within the GATE Application Form 2024, each carrying a specified fee as follows:
