CBSE Board Date Sheet 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to release the final datesheet for class 10 and class 12 on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Students eagerly waiting for the official announcement can now look up the website to check and download the timetable online.
CBSE board conducts both practical and theory exams for class 10 and 12. The practical exam is most likely to take place next month, January 2024. However the datesheet for the practical exams is still awaited.
CBSE date Sheet 2024: Class 10, 12 Exam Dates
Earlier, the authorities announced the expected date of CBSE exam for both class 10 and 12 in February 2024. The datesheet will help students to prepare for the D-day in more appropriate structure. This year around 35 lakhs students have registered for CBSE board exam for class 10 and 12.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a significant change in its approach to grading for class 10 and 12 board exams. According to a senior official, distinctions or divisions will no longer be awarded, and there will be no overall aggregate of marks. In cases where a candidate has taken more than five subjects, the decision to determine the best five subjects will be left to the discretion of the admitting institution or employer, as stated by CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.
Bhardwaj emphasized that the CBSE will not be involved in calculating, declaring, or providing the percentage of marks. If the percentage is required for higher education or employment, the responsibility for calculation will fall on the admitting institution or employer.
Furthermore, the CBSE has discontinued the practice of issuing merit lists, aiming to eliminate unhealthy competition among students. These changes reflect a shift towards a more holistic and institution-driven assessment system.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced final exam dates for Class 10th (Matric) and Class 12th (Inter). CBSE and UP board dates are still awaited.
UPMSP and CBSE have already shared practical exam dates. Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand boards have also released their 2024 exam schedules.
RBSE disclosed dates for class 10th and 12th exams. RBSE exams will run from February 15 to April 10.
