Amity University Online has recently unveiled a strategic alliance with HCLTech, a global technology company. This collaboration aims to introduce five specialised academic tracks at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, catering to the dynamic needs of the contemporary job market. These specialisations include MCA with a focus on Cybersecurity, MCA with specialisation in Software Engineering, BCA with emphasis on Data Engineering, BCA specialising in Software Engineering and BBA with a concentration in Data Analytics, according to an official release.
This joint venture is poised to equip more than 5,000 learners with skills aligned with industry demands. Amity University Online and HCLTech have joined forces to craft specialised programmes that integrate industry-relevant curricula and hands-on training. This integration is facilitated through Career Shaper, HCLTech’s learning and assessment platform, the release mentioned.
“Our ultimate objective with these new specialisations is to build a bridge between academic knowledge and industry requirements, offering students a holistic education that seamlessly integrates theory with practical skills,” Ajit Chauhan, chairman, Amity University Online, said:
The educational journey culminates with a ‘Last Mile Job Readiness’ programme, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to integrate into the highly skilled workforce. Successful students, meeting both academic and job readiness benchmarks, have the opportunity to participate in an interview with HCLTech.
With Career Shaper, HCLTech is dedicated to empowering students with industry-relevant knowledge, bridging the gap between academia and the ever-changing demands of the IT industry. Through this collaboration, we aspire to not only educate but also inspire the next generation of IT professionals, providing them with the tools they need to succeed and contribute meaningfully to the workforce,” Srimathi Shivashankar, corporate vice president and global head, ed-tech business, HCLTech, said.
