The Telangana Department of School Education (TS DSE) has officially released the notification for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET or TGTET) 2025 on its website — tgtet2024.aptonline.in/tgtet.
As per the notification, the online application process will begin on April 15, 2025, and will remain open until April 30, 2025. Eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official website once the link is live.
TS TET 2025 Exam Dates
The TS TET 2025 will be held as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) between June 15 and June 30, 2025, in two sessions per day. Each session will last 2 hours and 30 minutes. The specific dates for Paper I and Paper II will be announced separately.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet different eligibility requirements based on the paper they intend to appear for:
- Paper I (Classes I to V): Candidates should have passed Intermediate with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PH) and possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or an equivalent qualification.
- Paper II (Classes VI to VIII): Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PH) and have a B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education) qualification.

Exam Pattern
The TS TET 2025 will consist entirely of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark and no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Paper I is for candidates aiming to teach Classes I to V.
- Paper II is for those intending to teach Classes VI to VIII.
- Candidates who wish to teach at both primary and upper primary levels must appear for both papers.
