The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is likely to declare the SSLC Class 10 examination results on May 16 at 9:00 AM. Once the results are announced, students can check their scores at tnresults.nic.in. The declaration will be made through a press conference Mahesh at the Prof. Anbazhagan education Complex in Chennai. Around 8.94 lakh students have taken up the examination. For checking their results, students will need to login their registration number and date of birth as mentioned in their admit card.
How to check TN SSLC Exam Results 2025?
Following steps will be needed for checking TN SSLC results 2025+
Step 1: Students will need to open the official website-tnresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Locate the link that says SSLC Exam Results 2025 and click on it.
Step 3: Fill in your date of birth and registration number in the required box.
Step 4: Students will be able to check their result on the screen.
Step 5: Download the score and save it for future use.
Around 8.94 lakh students have taken up the examination of class 10 board examinations which were held from March 28 and continued till April 15, 2025. For clearing the TN SSLC examination, students will need to score a minimum of 35% in all the subjects.
The online marksheet will contain subject wise marks scored, roll number, name of the candidate, total marks and the final result status. Students are advised to treat their online marksheet as provisional and they can collect their original scores from their school after the results are out.
TN SSLC Class 10 exams rechecking and supplementary details
Students who are not able to score minimum passing criteria will be allowed to sit for supplementary examination. For those who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking too. Students will need to pay Rs 505 per subject for getting their copies rechecked or retotalled. The details regarding the compartmental exams will be out on after the results announcement are made.
