Rishihood University in Sonipat, India and the University of Chester in the United Kingdom (UK) have formalised their collaboration through the signing of a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement, a result of a virtual meeting between the two institutions, aims to enhance academic and research opportunities for faculty and students affiliated with the School of Creativity at Rishihood University and the University of Chester in the realm of higher education, according to an official release.

The MoU will concentrate on fostering student and staff exchanges at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, fostering a diverse and enriching learning experience across various fields. The collaborative efforts aim to extend to areas such as learning and teaching enhancements, as well as the exchange of publications and materials of mutual interest. 

“The academic collaboration marks a dynamic partnership aimed at fostering innovative educational and research opportunities. This alliance serves as a platform for students and faculty from both the institutions to exchange knowledge, explore creative pursuits and collectively contribute to the field of higher education,” Manika Walia, dean, School of Creativity, said.

Furthermore, the agreement is believed to open avenues for Rishihood University students to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University of Chester and engage in collaborative research initiatives, as per the release.
