The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the NEET UG 2025 results by June 14, as per the latest reports. Once results are announced, candidates who have taken up the examination will be able to check their results on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in. Students can check their results by using login credentials like their date of birth and application number.
Steps for downloading NEET UG 2025 results
Step 1: Students will have to go to the official website-neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link with the label ‘NEET 2025 results download’
Step 3: Fill in your login details, like date of birth, along with the NEET application number.
Step 4: After entering the details, click on the submit button.
Step 5: Candidates will be able to download the NEET UG 2025 results 2025.
This year, the NEET UG exams were held on May 4, 2025 and over 23 lakh students have appeared for the entrance test across 5,400 centres in India. Students were allowed to answer the question papers in 13 languages, thus making it one of the largest national entrance tests for undergraduate medical courses. Along with results, the NTA is also likely to release the All India Ranking list (AI) and cut-off scores.
The NEET UG 2025 results will include subject-wise marks got by the candidate, overall rank and percentile scores. Based on these rankings and cut off marks, candidates will get admission for MBBS, BDS, Ayush and other undergraduate courses offered by the government as well by the private institutions.
Earlier, the announcement of the result faced roadblock because of legal challenges. However, the Madras High Court has implemented a temporary stay after a petition was filed by students related to a power cut during the exam at a centre in Chennai. On similar grounds, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has accepted petitions because of technical glitches at selected centres.
However, both the courts have now removed the stay orders and have given a green signal to NTA for releasing the results. The courts have also dismissed the chances of a retest and has confirmed that there will be no re-examinations for the affected students.
