NEET Result 2021 Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) were expected to declare on October 30, but the scores are yet to be published leaving candidates anxious. This comes days after the Supreme Court cleared the way for the NTA result declaration.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old NEET aspirant, apprehensive over the outcome killed self in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore. On the other hand the Uttar Pradesh Police on Saturday sent a list of 25 candidates to NTA and urged the exaam conducting body to withhold scores of these candidates as it has been alleged that they might be involved with ‘NEET Solver Gang scam’
Once the official announcement has been made, the NEET-UG 2021 results will be made available on nta.ac.in, neet.nta.nic.in. NEET aspirants should also know that the NTA can also cancel the result of a candidate. After the scorecard is uploaded on the official websites, the pattern is to kickstart the counselling. If we look at the numbers, across India, there are about 17 lakh students who are waiting for their NEET scores. Now all eyes are on the official website as the scores can be published any time now

72 hours and counting - The result of the NEET-UG exam has not been declared as of now. Amid delay, there has been lot of confusion and fake alerts over the NEET-UG scores. However, we at FE would like to clarify that the NTA has not issued any notice on the results so far. But there is new buzz over the announcement and multiple reports suggest that the NTA NEET-UG 2021 result is likely to be announced any moment from now.
Apprehensive over the outcome of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), a 20-year old medical aspirant allegedly died by suicide in the district.
K Keerthivasan of Sangarayapuram near here had appeared for the entrance exam held in September for the third time, results of which are expected in a couple of days.
According to police, the youth had taken up the test in 2019 and 2020, but could not clear. So he tried his luck for the third time this year.
With National Testing Agency publishing the answer key, the youth was said to be upset and told his parents that he may not be able to clear the test this year also, they said.
Despite the advise from his parents to wait for the results, Keerthivasan allegedly consumed pesticides on Friday afternoon and was admitted to Pollachi Government hospital. The doctors attending to the youth referred him to the Government hospital here, where he died at night, they added. (PTI)

Despite the Supreme Court clearing the way for the NTA to announce the NEET result on Thursday itself, the National Testing Agency is yet to officially announce the result. Aspirants were hopeful that the result would be announced in a day or two after the SC order however, the wait seems to have prolonged.

In case two students score the same marks or percentile, the NTA has a very simple rule. The candidate who scores more in Biology will get a better rank. Subsequently, the second preference would be given to the candidate scoring a higher score in Chemistry. The last chance will be based on the proportion between correct and incorrect answers.
In its official statement, the NTA has said that the NEET scores 'may be utilized by other Entities of Central/State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules'
Unlike the school results, there are no unofficial websites that can host the NEET-UG results. So, aspirants are advised to check the official websites only.

If a candidate is caught cheating or any other unfair practices, the NTA can cancel the NEET score of the said candidate. Also, if a student is found to have written any part of the answer apart from the designated booklet provided by the NTA, the scores will be cancelled.
The NTA has not declared the result yet and students are getting frustrated over the delay. Many took to Twitter to vent out their anger. Some said that the NTA had told the Supreme COurt that the NEET result was ready. If that is the case, then why the delay, ask NEET aspirants
The officials say that the NTA will publish the names, scores and percentile of top 50 candidates this year on the official websites.
It should be noted that the NTA's final answer key can't be challenged. The answer key is used to compute the final scores and it remains unchallenged once uploaded on the official website.
