NEET PG counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a new combined schedule for NEET PG 2025 counselling. The fresh schedule includes the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and all seats from central and deemed universities. It was delayed because the authorities were waiting for approvals and seat matrix permissions. All steps must be completed on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
MCC has clarified that candidates can fill and lock their choices between November 17 and 18, 2025. The option locking will close on November 18 at 11:55 pm. This short window is crucial and will impact all future seat allotments.
NEET PG counselling 2025: Round 1 schedule
Round 1 will begin early, with institutes checking the provisional seat matrix on October 23. Candidates can register and pay the fees until November 5. Once choices are locked, seat allotment will take place on November 19, and the Round 1 results will be declared on November 20.
Students must report to the allotted institutes between November 21 and 27, and institutes will verify the admitted students from November 28 to 30.
NEET PG counselling 2025: Round 2 and Round 3 schedule
Round 2 will start on December 1 with matrix verification. Registration, fee payment and choice filling will happen from December 2 to 7, followed by the results on December 10.
Round 3 will begin on December 22, with choice filling from December 24 to 28. The results for this round will be announced on December 31, and students can report from January 1 to 8, 2026.
NEET PG 2025 counselling: Stray vacancy round
The final stray vacancy round will begin on January 12, 2026, with seat matrix checking. Candidates can register and fill choices from January 13 to 18, and the results will be declared on January 21. Reporting for this round will continue until January 31.
