The University of Mumbai has initiated its postgraduate admission process for all affiliated non-autonomous and autonomous colleges, university departments, and PG departments. The process begins today (May 22) on the official website, muadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The online registration for Mumbai University’s PG admission will close on June 15 at 6 pm. Candidates interested in arts, science, commerce, and management studies should complete their application before the deadline.

Online registration: May 22 to June 15 until 6 pm

Online verification of documents by departments: By June 20 until 6 pm

Display of provisional merit list: June 21 by 6 pm

Grievance submission from students: June 25 until 1 pm

First merit list: June 26 by 6 pm

Online payment for first merit list: June 27 to July 1 until 5 pm

Second merit list: July 2 by 6 pm

Online payment for second merit list: July 3 to July 5 until 5 pm

Commencement of lectures: July 1

Mumbai University PG Admission 2024: Required documents

– Printout of the duly filled online pre-enrollment form submitted on the University website.

– Duly filled admission form and information form(s).

– Original HSC marksheet with three attested photocopies.

– One attested photocopy of SSC marksheet and passing certificate.

– Duly filled provisional eligibility form (for students from boards other than Mumbai/other states).

– Migration certificate (for students from boards other than Mumbai/other states).

– Two recent passport-size color photographs of the applicant.

– For NRI candidates: copy of passport and visa, letter from the Embassy, and a letter from ICCR in addition to the above documents.

While most colleges admit students based on HSC marks, some popular colleges conduct their own entrance examinations. This year, Mithibai College and NM College are also considering the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admissions.
