In anticipation of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024, an initiative aimed at alleviating examination stress among students, a nationwide painting competition took place on January 23, 2024. The event spanned across 657 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 122 Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS) in 774 districts throughout the country, according to an official release.
With a participation of more than 50,000 students, the event centred around exam mantras from the book ‘Exam Warriors’ authored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The day, To nurture the creative expression of students, the Ministry of Education promoted various activities nationwide, including a painting competition, marathon run, music competition, meme competition, Nukkad Natak, poster making and Yoga-cum-meditation sessions, organized from January 12 (National Youth Day) to January 23, the release mentioned.
On January 23, 2024, students and teachers participated in the painting competition. The 7th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Interaction Programme, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024,’ witnessed a registration of 2.26 crore on the MyGov portal. Scheduled for January 29, 2024, the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 programme will take place in a town-hall format at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 11 am onwards. Approximately 3,000 participants, as per the release.
Furthermore, two students and a teacher from each state and union territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav, have been invited as special guests. Additionally, a hundred students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) from various parts of the country will attend the event for the first time, it added.
