The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) that allots medical seats on the basis of the candidate’s NEET score has announced special stray vacancy round under which more than 1,000 seats to be filled in MBBS/BDS/BSc Nursing courses of government and private institutes. Interested candidates need to visit the official website of MCC to apply for the special stray vacancy round, mcc.nic.in.
As per the official schedule, the registration window is open from November 1 till November 5, 2023 and the final result will be announced on November 7 on the official website. Qualified candidates are required to report to the allotted institute between November 8 and 15.
The official statement released by MCC states, “”It is pertinent to mention that this Special Stray Vacancy Round will be the last round for undergraduate courses for the academic year 2023. The details of the vacant AIQ seats are available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in). Candidates may contact state counseling authorities for vacant state quota seats.”
To successfully register for the special vacancy round, follow the below mentioned steps now:
- Step 1: Go to the official website, mcc.nic.in.
- Step 2: Click on the’registration’ link.
- Step 3: Log in with your NEET UG roll number, password, and security pin.
- Step 4: Fill out the application form and pay the money.
- Step 5: Examine the application form and save it for future reference.

- Certificate of date of birth (Class 10 pass certificate)
