Leverage.biz, the company behind the study abroad platform LeverageEdu, as well as the student finance division Fly Finance and student accommodations branch Fly Homes, has appointed Arjun Mehta as its first chief financial officer, according to an official release.
Mehta is a great complement to the rest of the leadership team and brings the kind of discipline that we’d like to have at this stage now. It’s been two weeks since he’s here and I can already see the different angle he brings into every conversation,” Akshay Chaturvedi, founder, CEO, Leverage.biz, said.
Mehta, a seasoned professional with a background in organisations such as Revolut, American Express and Apple, will utilise his expertise to steer Leverage through its upcoming phase of expansion. Arjun previously served as the CFO for American Express India in the early 2010s, managed finance for Apple’s India operations and held the position of CFO at the prominent United Kingdom (UK) based fintech company Revolut in his most recent role, the release mentioned.
“Looking forward to helping the company achieve its stated goal of free cash flow this year and then sustainable growth thereafter,” Mehta said.
