Kerala NEET UG 2024 Round 2: The provisional seat allotment results for the Kerala National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024 round 2 will be released today, September 25, by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE). Candidates who participated in the second counselling stage can check their allotment results on the official CEE Kerala website at cee.kerala.gov.in.

The choice-filling process for the Kerala NEET UG round 2 counselling ended on September 24. Following the provisional allotment, CEE Kerala will announce the final seat allotment results on September 27, 2024.

The provisional seat assignment will be based on the options selected by candidates and the availability of seats. The allotment process considers each applicant’s NEET UG rank, reservation criteria, and the choices made during counselling. Once the seat allotment is announced, candidates must confirm their assigned seat by paying the requisite fee and reporting to their designated college.

Options available for Kerala NEET UG seat allotment 2024

– Freeze: By selecting the “freeze” option, a candidate accepts the assigned seat and does not wish to participate in any further counselling rounds. They are satisfied with their allocation and plan to enrol in the assigned college and course.

– Float: The “float” option allows candidates to accept their assigned seat while still being considered for admission to higher-choice colleges or courses in future counselling rounds. If a better seat becomes available, they will be upgraded; otherwise, they will retain their current seat.

– Slide: By choosing the “slide” option, aspirants accept a seat in a specific college while seeking a higher-preference course within that same college. If a preferred course becomes available in subsequent rounds, they will be moved to that course while remaining at the same institution.

These options give candidates greater flexibility in managing their seat preferences based on the availability of seats in later counselling rounds.
