The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the provisional seat allotment results for round 1 of the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. Candidates who participated in the exam can now check and download their results from the official KEA websites: keaonline.karnataka.gov.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. To access the results, candidates need to enter their CET number on the result portal.
Objection window open for candidates
Candidates dissatisfied with the round 1 provisional seat allotment can raise objections through email at keaauthority-ka@nic.in. The deadline for submitting grievances is 4 PM today, November 15. The KEA will review all objections before releasing the final seat allotment results, which are scheduled to be announced on January 1, 2025, after 6 PM.
Important advisory
The KEA has clarified that the round 1 provisional seat allotment result is not a confirmation for admission. In a statement on the official website, the KEA emphasised: “Candidates should not report to the allotted college, and colleges are advised not to admit candidates based on this round 1 provisional seat allotment result.”
The Karnataka PGCET facilitates admissions to postgraduate programmes, including MCA, MBA, ME, MArch, and MTech. Candidates are advised to stay updated with announcements on the official KEA website for further instructions regarding the admission process.
