The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is set to announce the Class 12 board exam results for the Science and Commerce streams on May 31, 2025, at 11:30 AM. The official result link will be activated at 12:30 PM on the JAC website — jac.jharkhand.gov.in. State Education Minister Shri Ramdas Soren will release the results during a press conference.

Once declared, students can access their JAC Class 12 results at both the official result portal — jacresults.com — and on education.indianexpress.com, the official website of IE Education.

The results being declared on May 31 pertain only to the Science and Commerce streams. Students will need to enter their Roll Number and Roll Code to check their scores online through the result login window.

The JAC Class 12 board exams were conducted between February 11 and March 4, 2025. Earlier, the Class 10 results were released on May 27, 2025.

Follow these steps to download your result:

  1. Visit the official result website: jacresults.com
  2. Click on the link for JAC 12th Result 2025
  3. Enter your Roll Number and Roll Code, then submit
  4. View your result displayed on the screen
  5. Download and print a copy for future reference

JAC class 12th result: Passing criteria

To pass the JAC Class 12 exams, students must score:

  • At least 23 out of 70 marks in each subject
  • A minimum of 33 out of 100 marks overall (aggregate)

JAC class 12th result: Compartment and improvement exams

Students who fail in one or two subjects can apply for compartment exams. Those aiming to improve their marks will have the option to take improvement exams, as per the board’s guidelines.

  • Science: 72.7% pass
  • Commerce: 90.60% pass
  • Arts: 93.7% pass
