The National Testing Agency (NTA) that conducts JEE examinations has started the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination Mains session 1 today on November 2. Interested candidates are required to visit the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, to register for session 1 of JEE Mains. The window will be open till November 30.

As per the official schedule, the JEE Mains session 1 exam will be conducted in January-February while the second session will be held in April. Applicants can choose to participate in either or both of the JEE Main 2023 sessions. The highest score will be taken into account for the outcome if they participate in both sessions.

Additionally, they are exempt from reapplying in session 2. During the second session window, these candidates can log in directly, pay, and, if needed, change the exam center. Those who only plan to attend one session (either the first or second) must still finish the registration and application process.

The NTA has also released the JEE Main syllabus and information bulletin for the 2024 exam on the website. As of the marking scheme it follows the same last year method that includes a negative marking system for every wrong answer.

Here is the step-by-step guide to fill JEE Mains registration form online:

  • Step 1: Access jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Click to register for the first session.
  • Step 3: To fill out the application, finish the registration process and then log in.
  • Step 4: Fill out the required fields, attach files, and submit your money.
  • Step 5: Fill out the form and save the page with the confirmation.

According to the NTA report regarding multiple registration, it says, “Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.”
