JEE Mains 2024 Result Session 2 Toppers List: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of JEE Main session 2. As per the official notification released by NTA, 56 students scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main session 2 exam. Students are advised to check their scorecards at the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
NTA held JEE Main exams in 300 cities this year as opposed to 304 cities in 2023. Additionally, the JEE Main final answer key has already been made available by NTA and is available on the official website.
Telangana maintains lead, reports highest toppers
Telangana has maintained its lead in producing the most 100 percentilers this year, much like the last year. The state stands out with 15 students achieving perfect NTA scores, an increase from 11 in 2023. Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh closely follow, each with 7 students achieving 100 percentiles, a significant rise from 2 and 5 respectively in 2023.
This year also witnessed a notable surge in the count of 100 percentilers, reaching 56 in Paper 1 (BE/BTech), up by 13 from 2023. Notably, two girls, Sanvi Jain from Karnataka and Shayna Sinha from Delhi, shine among male candidates. This surpasses the previous year’s tally of 43, where Ridhi Kamlesh Kumar Maheshwari from Karnataka was the sole female achiever of the 100 percentile.
Cut-off increased
In the current year, the cut-off for JEE (Advanced) among general category candidates stands at 93.23, marking an increase from 90.77 in 2023, 88.4 in 2022, and 87.9 in 2021. Previously, in 2020 and 2019, the qualifying scores for general candidates were 90.3 and 89.7, respectively.

In 2023, 43 students scored 100 percentile in the overall merit list, which comprised the performance of students in both session 1 and session 2. Interestingly, Ridhi Kamlesh Kumar from Karnataka was the only female student among the 43 toppers to have scored 100 percentile.

JEE Main was conducted in two rounds this year, in January and April, respectively. Students who participated in both the rounds will get an advantage as their best score will be considered for the final merit list.
