JEE Main 2024 Answer Key Live: The National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting body of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2024, has released the provisional answer key for candidates who appeared in the exam, held between January 24 and February 1. The answer key is released on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
As per reports, there are a total of 55,493 candidates appeared for the paper 2 (BArch, BPlanning) examination while 11,70,036 took the paper 1 (BE/BTech) test. Soon after releasing the answer key, the agency will be opening an objection window for candidates to raise any objection regarding the answer to the exam.
The JEE Mains 2024 examination is scheduled to take place across 300 cities within India and 25 cities outside the country.
The JEE Main 2024 answer key is now accessible on the official website. Students can submit objections from February 6 to 8, 2024, through the Answer Key Objection window.
The results for JEE Mains 2024 session 1 are set to be revealed on February 12, 2024. Students can access their results via the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
As per the official notification on the website, candidates can now access the JEE Mains Provisional Answer Keys for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Paper 2B (B. Planning) online at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Additionally, question papers and recorded responses are also available for download. To retrieve these materials, candidates need to log in using their application ID and date of birth.
Following the submission of objections to the JEE Mains answer key, any valid challenges made by candidates will result in revisions to the Answer Key. These revisions will be applied to all candidates' responses accordingly. Subsequently, the final result will be prepared and announced based on the revised Answer Keys. Anticipated release of the JEE Main results is slated for February 12, 2024.
Between February 6 and 8, candidates have the option to raise objections to the provisional answer key, with a fee of Rs 200 per question.

Over the years, more candidates are joining Paper 1. In 2022, 88.2% attended out of 872432 registrants. In 2023, 95.8% attended from 860064 registrations. In 2024, 95.8% attended out of 1221615 registrations, showing a consistent trend of increased participation.
