The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is inviting applications for its two-year MBA programme tailored specifically for working executives, entrepreneurs and professionals seeking to enhance their managerial skills. The Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE) will take place at the institute’s Noida campus, catering to individuals currently engaged in professional roles, according to an official release.
The application deadline is set for November 20, 2023. The PGPWE curriculum spans four terms in the first year and three terms in the second year. Classes are held every alternate weekend at IIM Lucknow’s Noida Campus, with participants arriving on Friday afternoon and departing on Sunday evening. Each term comprises seven visits spread over a three-month period, providing a comprehensive range of electives alongside fundamental modules like management information systems and designing work organisation, the release mentioned.
“The PGPWE programme aims to offer highly rewarding career growth without requiring participants to leave their current jobs. It exposes them to global business trends through a two-week international immersion module with prestigious business schools in Europe,” S. Venkataramanaiah, chairperson, admissions, IIM Lucknow, Noida Campus, said.
Elective courses in Decision Sciences, Business Environment, Communication, Marketing Management and more are integral to the programme. Notably, the curriculum includes a two-week international immersive experience at one of Europe’s premier business schools, fostering cross-cultural insights into global management challenges, as per the release.
Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and possess a minimum of three years of full-time work experience. Admission requirements include a valid GMAT/GRE score, CAT score, or GATE score. Alternatively, candidates can choose to take the PGPWE Entrance Exam, scheduled for December 17, 2023, at IIM Lucknow’s Noida Campus. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a writing ability test and a personal interview.
The PGPWE cohort typically comprises students from diverse professional backgrounds, with work experience ranging from 4-19 years in IT, banking, consulting, sales and marketing, representing renowned global companies such as Amazon, Adobe, and Barclays, among others, it added.
