The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the fresh admission cycle for various undergraduate, postgraduate and other programmes for the academic year starting July 24. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications through the official website portals: ignouiop.samarth.edu.in and ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The deadline for application submission for the diverse programmes at IGNOU is set for June 30. The university offers a wide array of educational options including certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas and degrees.

Eligibility criteria and fees structure

Eligibility criteria vary depending on the course of interest. For undergraduate courses, candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized educational board with a minimum of 50 per cent marks. Similarly, for postgraduate courses, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.

Registration fees for UG courses is Rs 300, payable through debit/credit card or net banking. Meanwhile, academic fees for PG courses range from Rs 8,400 to Rs 45,000, depending on the specific programme.
