ETS India, a subsidiary of ETS, and the owner of assessment tests such as TOEFL and GRE and Digii (formerly CollPoll), a Bengaluru-based SaaS company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to simplify the journey of students aiming for international education by integrating ETS’s globally recognised assessments like TOEFL and GRE with Digii’s digital campus platform, Digiicampus, as per the official announcement.
The MoU claims to enable Digii’s network of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to gain streamlined access to ETS’s assessments – TOEFL and GRE. It claims that Digii’s partner HEIs will benefit from direct access to Digiicampus features, enhancing student engagement and simplifying the study abroad application process with a new workflow for managing essential documents, the release explained.
As per the release, Digii and ETS India will also collaborate on joint go-to-market activities to reach out to new HEIs and foster broader access to educational opportunities.
“I am thrilled about the collaborative journey ahead with Digii. This strategic collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing educational opportunities for students globally. Together, we aim to leverage technology and streamline processes, fostering a seamless path for students aspiring to study abroad. This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing innovative solutions and broadening horizons in higher education and reaching more institutions across India,” Sachin Jain, country manager, ETS India and South Asia, said.
Partner HEIs of Digii that have an Institutional MoU with ETS India will be able to use specific features of the Digiicampus platform, such as the Campus Social Network, Institutional Calendar and Placement Management System, according to their licence agreement with Digii, as stated in the release.
“When it comes to leveraging technology to create a delightful experience for Gen-Z students, we have always been excited and are at the forefront of driving this. With 200K+ happy users, we plan to rapidly build more capabilities on Digiicampus assisted by advanced technologies to support the overall student experience. We are glad that our collaboration with ETS India has given us the opportunity to further strengthen our mission of empowering higher education institutions,” Hemant Sahal, founder and CEO, Digii, said.
