CollegeDekho, a college enrollment and learning marketplace acquires ImaginXP, a Jaipur based startup specialising in design education content delivery. This is believed to strengthen CollegeDekho’s ‘CollegeDekho Assured’ services, following other recent acquisitions in the same area, according to an official release.
CollegeDekho’s recent acquisitions claims to have empowered them to provide skill-focused, career-oriented learning within their ‘CollegeDekho Assured’ initiative for Engineering and Management degrees. With the addition of ImaginXP, they can now offer a complete package of enrollment, curriculum, content delivery and career services to universities and students in Technology, Design and Management programmes, the release mentioned.
This move by CollegeDekho, in a country with over 54,000 universities and colleges, aims to facilitate Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in aligning academia with industry needs, offering degrees with future-ready skills. It also aims to enable HEIs to stand out by enhancing student employability, aligning with the goals of the National Education Policy 2020, it added.
“We generate more than 225 million sessions annually across our platforms, while over 4.8 million students reach out for counselling and guidance. We welcome ImaginXP to the CollegeDekho family to help us strengthen our offerings to our students. This is our third acquisition in the area of Future-Skills development for students and will help us expand our range of services to India’s student community & HEIs,” Ruchir Arora, CEO, co-founder, CollegeDekho, said.
CollegeDekho claims to offer comprehensive information on more than 35,000 colleges, facilitated by trained professional counselors. Over the years, the platform further claims to have successfully guided and facilitated admissions for a substantial number of students, the release said.
