The CBSE has issued an important update for students awaiting the Class 10 and 12 board exam results 2025. The Board has informed schools that student-specific DigiLocker security PINs or Access Codes are now available and must be distributed to students. These 6-digit codes are required to access digital copies of the marksheet, migration certificate and school leaving certificate once the results are declared.

According to the latest notification from CBSE, “CBSE 10th Result 2025 and CBSE 12th Result 2025 are releasing soon”, and the results are currently “under preparation”. Once released, students can check their scores on the official websites results.cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.

Schools to share access codes individually

CBSE has uploaded the student-wise Access Codes to schools’ DigiLocker accounts. Schools must log in through the “Login as School” portal using CBSE LOC credentials at digitallocker.gov.in, download the PIN file for Class 10 or Class 12 and securely share the unique code with each student to ensure privacy and secure access.

How students can use DigiLocker to access results

Students will also receive DigiLocker login credentials via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. Once the results are announced, students can access and download their documents by following these steps:

  • Visit digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse
  • Select Class 10 or 12
  • Enter school code, roll number and the 6-digit PIN provided by the school
  • Complete verification and log in
  • Go to the ‘Profile’ section and link Aadhaar (if not already linked)
  • Use ‘Pull Partner Documents’ to fetch marksheet and certificates
  • Select year and enter roll number
  • Click ‘Get Document’ and choose ‘Save to Locker’ to store it securely

If a student has not received their PIN, they are advised to contact their school immediately to avoid delays in accessing their results.
