CBSE Class 10 Result 2024 Passing Percentage: The CBSE has released the 2024 results for Class 12 on Monday (May 13). The Class 12 examinations took place from February 15 to April 2. Results can be viewed on the official website, cbse.gov.in.

This year, the overall pass percentage in Class 12 is 87.98 per cent, compared to last year’s 87.33 per cent.

Although there has been a consistent rise in pass percentages over the past five years, the Class 12 results for 2023 witnessed a decline. Last year’s pass percentage for Class 12 was 87.33 percent, which marked a decrease compared to the previous year’s 92.71 percent.

Annually, CBSE administers special exams for students who have failed in one or more subjects. Formerly known as compartment exams, the board announced last year that these assessments would now be termed supplementary exams. Typically scheduled for July, the results are then unveiled by August. This alteration aligns with recommendations outlined in the NEP 2020.
