CAT 2024 Registration Deadline: The registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 will close tomorrow, September 20. Aspirants who have not yet applied for admission to postgraduate management courses can complete their registration through the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
This year, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) is responsible for organizing CAT 2024. The examination is scheduled to take place on November 24, with the test being conducted in approximately 170 cities. Applicants will be able to select up to five preferred cities in the application form.
After the registration window closes on September 20, a brief editing period will be available for registered candidates. During this time, applicants will have the chance to modify their photograph, signature, and test city preferences, if needed.
CAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
– Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA.
– Candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to have at least 45% in their bachelor’s degree.
– Those without a bachelor’s degree may also apply if they have completed a professional qualification (CA, CS, ICWA, or FIAI) with the required marks.
CAT 2024 Exam Format:
The test will have a duration of 120 minutes, divided into three sections:
1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
3. Quantitative Ability
