The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, will be conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) on November 26, 2023. This year, over 3.3 lakh people have registered for the exam. Candidates who would take the CAT 2023 must download the hall ticket from the official website: iimcat.ac.in by entering their login credentials.

IIM CAT 2023 will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) in 155 cities across India. The exam will be given three times: in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Candidates must arrive at the exam site at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before the exam begins.

Admit Card

Candidates who plan to take the admission test must download the hall ticket by following the steps outlined below:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
  • Step 2: From the homepage, navigate to the registered candidate login page.
  • Step 3: Enter your user ID and password.
  • Step 4: The CAT admission card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 5: Open and save the admission ticket
  • Step 6: Make several hardcopies for exam needs.

Required Documents

Candidates are required to carry some documents for the entry in the exam hall which are:

CAT Admit Card: Candidates taking the CAT 2023 exam must have two printouts of their admit card with their photo (ideally the same as uploaded with the application form). Entry will be denied if you do not have your CAT admit card and a photo ID.
Identification proof: Candidates must bring a photo ID proof, such as a college ID (which must be accompanied by a valid debit/credit card), employer ID, driving license, passport, PAN card, Voter ID, or Aadhaar card, in addition to the admit card.
PwD/Scribe Certificate: If they desire to use scribe services, PwD applicants must carry a certificate showing their disability as well as a scribe certificate attested by a competent body.
