The most awaited competitive exam, Common Admission Test (CAT), conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will soon be releasing admit cards on November 7, 2023 on the official website, iimcat.ac. Registered candidates are required to download the hall ticket from the same website by entering login credentials.
According to the official schedule the CAT 2023 examination will be conducted on November 26, 2023 and candidates with their hall tickets will only be allowed to sit for the exam.
In exam centers located in 155 test cities where the admissions test will be administered. On the CAT 2023 Admit Card, the exam center’s name will be written. It should be mentioned that IIMs reserve the right to modify test dates and times, as well as add, delete, edit, or cancel any test center or city.
Follow the below mentioned steps to download the CAT 2023 admit card:
Step 1: Go to iimcat.ac.in, the official website.
Step 2: On the homepage, select the link for downloading the admission card.
Step 3: Enter your login information
Step 4: The screen will display the CAT 2023 Admit Card.
Step 5: See the file and download it.
Step 6: Save numerous hardcopies for use during exams.
About CAT 2023
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted every year to get admission into 21 IIMs and almost 100 other business schools across the country. The 2 hour long exam is divided into three sections, Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VARC) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).
Candidates will be presented with 66 questions, both MCQ and non-MCQ types, of total marks 198. As per the marking scheme, each question carries 3 marks with negative marking if answered incorrectly. The CAT 2023 exam will be convened by Professor Sanjeet Singh of IIM Lucknow. This year’s exam is anticipated to draw over 3,000 000 applicants.
