Under the Namma School Scheme, AliceBlue Financial Services Private Limited has donated Rs 1.5 Crores to Erode government school. The donation aims to elevate the educational infrastructure, enhance learning resources and create a more conducive environment for both students and educators, as per the official announcement.
Against the total requirement of 21 classrooms, the Senior Secondary School only has 12 so under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Alice Blue expressed its willingness to construct nine classrooms, toilets, and compound walls for the school, and approvals were obtained from authorities concerned, it added.
“I am delighted to announce that AliceBlue, in alignment with our commitment to fostering positive societal change, has donated INR 1.5 Crore to support the development of the school. Education is a cornerstone for progress, and we believe in empowering future generations through access to quality learning environments. We hope that this contribution results in the betterment of communities, and plays a pivotal role in shaping a brighter future for the students and the region as a whole,” Sidhavelayutham M, CEO, AliceBlue’s Group, said.
In April 2023, AliceBlue claimed to donate smart boards, computers, printers and other items to 32 government schools in the district, all at a total cost of around Rs 1.5 crore.
