The All India Bar Examination XVIII (AIBE 18) conducted by the Bar Council of India has rescheduled the date of examination to December 10, as per the recent official statement. Earlier the date of examination was scheduled to be on December 3 but it was found out to be clashing with the examination of CLAT PG and MP State Judicial PT.

The authorities have also announced to extend the registration date. Now, the final date for online registration to AIBE 18 is November 19 as compared to November 10. By November 19, candidates who have already registered and wish to make any necessary changes can do so. December 1, 2023, to December 5, 2023, is when the admit cards for the All India Bar Exam 18 will be distributed.

The conflict between the AIBE XVIII and the CLAT PG exam has been resolved, according to the updated notification. The AILET exam 2024, which is scheduled for December 10, 2023, coincides with the new dates of the All India Bar exam (AIBE 18).

This year, BCI also raised the AIBE cutoff for candidates in the general category from 40% to 45%. Those who have graduated from law school and enrolled in any state bar council but have not yet passed the bar exam are eligible to take it. The purpose of AIBE is to evaluate law graduates’ aptitude and fundamental legal knowledge. There will be questions on a variety of legal principles, legal concepts, and jurisprudence in the AIBE syllabus for 2023–2024.
