The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has posted the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) results online and candidates can check their marks on cbseresults.nic.in.
The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their choice during post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for post of Assistant Professor.
CBSE said that aspirants who have qualified for the JRF would get a stipend of Rs 25,000 per month along with house rent allowance (HRA) (30% in tier I cities) to pursue their research work for a period of five years.
However, the candidates, who qualify exclusively for Assistant Professor, will not be considered for award of JRF.
