Elon Musk-owned social media platform X, formerly Twitter is rolling out two new subscription plans: Premium Plus and Premium Basic. The new subscription plans join X Premium, and the platform boasts a total of three subscription plans for its users.
Notably, Elon Musk acquired Twitter, now X, almost a year and he brought in the controversial paid blue check which had been a criteria-exclusive. But, ever since the acquisition, the platform has changed almost all bits even the bird has been freed. It’s just X now.
The two new plans come at a whopping $16 per month and $3 per month.

X Premium Plus costs $16 per month
The new and upgraded version of X Premium, previously Twitter Blue, costs a whopping $16 per month provides the largest reply boost” and eliminates ads from your For You and Following feeds, as stated on the feature page.
Premium Plus extends the benefits of the standard Premium plan, including a blue checkmark, tweet editing, longer posts and videos, encrypted messages, and more. It costs Rs 1,300 in India on the web; Android or iOS pricing may differ.

X Premium Basic costs $3 per month
Apart from the two top-tier plans X Premium and Premium Plus, the Premium Basic has joined them at the lowest $3 per month in exchange for reduced ad experience while using the platform, as well as a small boost and access to X’s media studio. But…it doesn’t include a blue checkmark.
It costs Rs 243.75 in India on the web; Android or iOS pricing may differ.
