According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Billari, Milak, Chandausi, Bareilly, and Badayun in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan Region from the night of March 5. Under its influence, isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall is likely over the Western Himalayan Region from March 5 to March 7.
Heavy rainfall/snowfall is likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, and gusty winds are very likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, said IMD.

In terms of heat, a gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2-3 degrees C is very likely over some parts of central India during the next three days, said the IMD. There will be no significant change thereafter, it added.
In northwest India, during the next three days, a gradual rise in maximum temperature by 4-5 degrees C is very likely.
