As the monsoon season nears its end, India continues to experience contrasting weather patterns across states. While heavy rains have caused floods in parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, other regions, like Delhi, are grappling with sweltering heat. The national capital is expected to reach a maximum temperature of 36°C and a minimum of 26°C on October 1, leaving residents in discomfort due to humid conditions.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for rainfall in several northeastern states, including Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur, as well as in southern states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Maharashtra is also likely to witness rainfall in several districts.

Uttar Pradesh is set to receive rain today, and Bihar may experience light showers tomorrow, according to Patna’s Meteorological Center. In the hilly regions of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, rain is expected to continue, with the monsoon likely to withdraw from Uttarakhand by October 3.

However, Rajasthan will remain mostly dry over the next three days, though districts like Jaipur and Udaipur might see cloudy skies.
