In a clash between Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal, BJP leader and Union minister Babul Supriyo was attacked by TMC members. As the clash intensified, the angry mob pelted stone at the union ministers car and blocked it’s movement in an attempt to make physical attack.

The clash started when Babul Supriyo came out with BJP workers at Assansol in West Bengal, and in the presence of TMC supporters there were exchange of dialogues and slogans between the two. Angry TMC workers then grabbed BJP leader Subrata Mitra, and started thrashing him in the presence of police officials.
