Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has been appointed to lead the BJP’s 27-member manifesto committee for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, announced the party on Wednesday.
The committee will focus on gathering suggestions from people nationwide to shape the party’s election promises.
Serving as the convener of the committee is Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while Union Minister Piyush Goyal will act as the co-convener.
Additionally, the committee includes several other Union ministers and chief ministers from states like Gujarat, Assam, and Madhya Pradesh.
Seasoned leaders such as Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Vasundhara Raje are also part of the committee.
