Narendra Modi Oath Ceremony Guest List: Narendra Modi is set to take oath as India’s Prime Minister for a third consecutive term at 6 PM on June 9. The Cabinet Ministers are also likely to take oath on the same day at an event scheduled to be held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Earlier, the oath ceremony was expected to take place on June 8. However, it has now been confirmed that Modi will be sworn in on Sunday. The event will be witnessed by over 8,000 dignitaries, The Indian Express reported.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) today nominated Modi as their Parliamentary leader, endorsing him as the next Prime Minister and setting the stage for his third swearing-in ceremony.
Modi swearing-in ceremony: Foreign dignitaries
As stated above, thousands of dignitaries will be in attendance at the ceremony, this will also include several foreign dignitaries. Some of the foreign guests who are attending the oath ceremony are – Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Sri Lanka President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal, IE reported. Besides them, sources have said indicated that as per the officials from Ministry of External Affairs, Maldives President Mohammad Muizzu, Vice President of Seychelles Ahmed Afif, Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and head of state of Mauritius are also expected to attend the ceremony.

The Indian Express has reported that the final date and time of the ceremony was decided keeping in mind the schedule of heads of state from other countries.
