By 7 pm, around 64.59 per cent of over 99.61 lakh voters had cast their votes in Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur parliamentary constituencies, along with 42 assembly segments under these Lok Sabha seats. The Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha seat recorded the highest voter turnout at 70.15 per cent, followed by Jajpur (67.65), Balasore (66.07), Mayurbhanj (64.17), Kendrapara (62.02), and Bhadrak (58.21). The fate of 66 candidates contesting in the Lok Sabha seats, and 394 nominees vying for the assembly segments in this fourth and final phase of simultaneous polls have been sealed. Results will be out on June 4.
