A nursing student was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by unidentified persons in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. The student hails from Theni.
According to the Dindigul District Superintendent of Police, Pradeep, the accused left her near the railway station, ANI reported.

The victim has been admitted to Dindigul Government Medical College Hospital and is undergoing treatment, the officer said.
An FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway.
