A fire broke out in a shop at Krishna Apra Plaza Market in Sector 18, Noida on Tuesday. The fire triggered chaos as thick smoke engulfed the area and hundreds of people rushed out of the market. In the videos that surfaced on the internet showed some people jumping from the building in panic. FE.com could not independently verify the authenticity of the videos.

The blaze reportedly originated on the ground floor and spread rapidly. According to reports, some people are still stuck inside the building. Firefighters arrived at the scene and launched rescue operations to evacuate those trapped inside. The cause of the fire remains unknown as of now and an investigation is underway. No casualties have been reported so far.
According to multiple media reports, more than half a dozen fire brigade vehicles are at the scene, working to control the situation. The visuals revealed that the entire building has turned black from the inside. Pradeep Kumar and DCP Noida Ram Ban Singh informed that no casualties have been reported in the incident, however, 5-6 people have sustained injuries while attempting to jump from the windows.
